Learning From My Gambling Errors

1st to clarify why I write this essay. I have been betting on the net or at a brick and mortar betting houses for many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are penniless. Particularly if you’re on a winning run. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time and to this day on occasion, I will go too far. It appears you’re just having fun until you decide to be aware of your losses and the anguish settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you feel queasy in your belly and the more you try the quicker you are deprived.
When you see that you are up, remain on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this logic RARELY ever works. Say you’re betting on slot games, have an amount put aside before starting your action. DO NOT exceed that limit, no matter how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a different pot. Don’t spend your successes no matter what. As soon as you have gone through your original set limit, stop. Leave, regardless if it is on the web or at a brick and mortar betting house, do not stick around. Always remember, there will be a different day, a different time.
Always remember, betting is assumed to be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not manage the loss, do not even begin.
